To most of us, it is a rather obscure science: uninviting, complex, and out of touch.

As technology advances, we can feel increasingly alienated by it. It seems as if writing and using deep learning algorithms is reserved for a special few—the crazy geniuses.

Unsurprisingly (and sadly), only 0.3% of the world’s population knows how to code.

Discovering the possibilities offered by coding is akin to diving into the ocean for the first time. There’s a whole world out there that you don’t know—and it’s beautiful.

Thanks to AI, anyone can build (and code) their ideas, and I’m about to show you how. Coding has been democratised, in the same way that apps like Canva have democratised design for non-designers.

In the past 12 months, I’ve built a dozen micro apps to solve some of my everyday pain points. Things like helping my wife and me with our baby feeding schedule or more fintech-oriented tasks like aggregating data from my three banks into one app.

I can honestly say that it has completely changed my mindset, despite having conceived and designed digital products for over 15 years.
